《我的爱》讲述了经理、前放映员、终身电影爱好者维克多·普里斯和他的两名忠诚员工科妮莉亚和洛雷娜的故事，他们每天都在努力保护位于皮亚特拉尼亚姆茨的达契亚全景影院，这是罗马尼亚目前仅存的几家影院之一。维克多经历过电影的“黄金时代”，他梦想着重现昔日的辉煌，但却难以跟上新的严酷现实。在一个没有暖气、正在慢慢倒塌的影院里，没有政府的支持，这几乎是一场堂吉诃德式的战斗。
